Squidoo - Secrets or Lies?

I have set up four Squidoo Lenses because I noticed that other internet marketers were singing the praises of Squidoo for wealth creation and creating backlinks to your web sites or blogs. However, four months later I have earned the princely sum of $2.57. I created one lens on how to deal with acne, which got quite a few votes but I'm not seeing the cash to back it up. If you are wondering how Squidoo works it is fairly simple. You create an account and then you can set up numerous lenses - these are your own pages. Squidoo explains them thus:
