This week I wrote an article explaining how you can get a free Adsense Wordpress Plugin. This is an easy way to automate your Adsense Ad placement in your Wordpress posts with a simple plugin. You can also block Adense ads appearing in certain post - this is essential if you are writing sponsored posts - your paying client does not want to see other people's ads appearing in the middle of their paid link. You can also use this plugin to automate your Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) ads if you are publishing them on your Wordpress blog. At the moment YPN is open to US publishers only in its beta testing phase.

Wordpress templates are so boring!!

I have just set up a new wordpress blog on my Home Entrepreneur Income site. I wanted to have a blog with my own domain name and wordpress seems to be a good tool once you can use it. The standard wordpress theme is dull, of course. But after hours of surfing I have not found any themes that are much more interesting. Why are the colours all so muted? And why do the header graphics take up most of the first fold? Don't Wordpress bloggers use Adsense?
