I have recently completed my house sale and purchase using the solicitors that I found through a website called Conveyancing Brokers. They found me a fixed price house conveyancing deal for the sale and purchase. We paid exactly half the amount quoted by any other firm of solicitors and the solicitor we used was just as easy to contact as any other that i have used. She also communicated by email, something that some lawyers still refuse to do!!

If you are trying to make a difference with all your spending, there are a lot of bank accounts that claim to be greener than the rest. All my family have current accounts at FirstDirect because when you call them you speak to someone intelligent and they are not working to a script. If you are in the UK you can get a current account there with all the facilities offered by the other major banks, but the difference and 24 hour telephone banking. Even my mother, who works for another bank, has her account there.
