Several of my family suffer from arthritis and repetitive strain injury and these conditions are difficult to help. The pain is chronic and all that conventional medicine seems to offer are anti-inflammatories and steroids, both of which have negative side effects. We have been checking out colloidal silver – a substance derived from introducing pure silver to a positive charge – as a possible natural therapy for the symptoms of arthritis. The symptoms of arthritis arise from an immune system reaction which causes inflammation in the tissues of the joints. What this means is that the body is fighting itself and the result is painful. Colloidal silver acts naturally with the body to boost the immune system. Instead of fighting itself the body starts to act to cure the imbalance and heal the tissue damage. Since the conventional remedies are fairly ineffective we are giving a trial to the natural properties of silver instead.
